Scotch Display
Engineered to stick
Scotch Display is a geometric display typeface inspired by the utility of scotch tape: layered, transparent, and structural. It captures the feeling of transparent tape layered on top of itself, making the typeface appear assembled rather than drawn. Each letter feels constructed — pressed into place, aligned, stacked, slightly overlapping. Scotch Display plays with contrast; soft through sharpness, not decoration but structure. The layered construction creates depth without ornament. It feels engineered yet tactile. Digital in execution, analog in reference. The typeface reads more as shape than outline. It’s bold without being loud, expressive without excess, and experimental while remaining legible.
